Elections

Fellow Africans,
Greetings to you in the new year. I hope you are settling in well as the semester begins and that you are not overwhelmed by the demands of your classes! I am prayig that all of us will be highly successful in our seminary careers and that we will return to a greater success in the field wherever the ord might send us from here. God is great.

We meet on Friday the 18th, which is a week from today to elect our new leadership team. Unless otherwise communicated, let us plan to meet for a potluck dinner 6pm in Cordelia B.

Here are some guidelines for the election of a new president.
1. He/ she should be a member of the community, preferably one who is regularly involved in the fellowship.
                  - can be a seminary student
                  - can be a student spouse
                  - can be a member of the seminary staff
                  - can be a member of the seminary faculty
                  - can be a faculty spouse
2. He/ she should love Africans and seek their well being.
3. He/ she is to be a Christian.
4. Since the president leads the whole group, unity of the whole should be part of his/ her agenda.

ActionPoint:
a. Please pray for the election of our new president and leadership team
b. Please think, consult and get ready to vote the right people into office who will lead this fellowship to its next level.
c. Per our current constitution, nominations will be given at the time election, which will be done by secret ballot.
