March Fellowship

Friends,
I have the great pleasure of welcoming into our midst Dr. James Ault. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Cordelias (within the seminary Cafeteria), the African Fellowship will meet Dr. Jim Ault. He is a sociologist and the son of Methodist Bishop and missionary to Africa. Jim was in Africa with his parents and returned on his own. You will find him quite interesting and his experience beneficial - an etic (i.e. outsider's) perspective to ministry back home. So, please plan to attend this unusually important meeting.  Though my original idea in inviting him was to meet the African Fellowship (you all are very important), Jim will spend time with the Beeson students, the ESJ students, eat with Dr. and Mrs. Tennent as well as preach in the chapel on Thursday. He will additionally screen one of his African based Christian movies on the afternoon of Wednesday. Do take advantage of his visit.

Note also that this will be my final meeting as President of the Asbury Seminary African Fellowship here in Wilmore. Next month's meeting, April 15 will be our official handover when we will welcome the Rev. David Wilson Ntogohnya as President and the Rev. Raymond Muniss as General Secretary to our fellowship. Please be praying for our new leaders. It is yet uncertain about the Treasurer.

Please bring a dish and a drink as this will be a potluck

The Rev. Robert Magoola, President
Asbury Seminary African Fellowship
